TEDx Happiness Street is an independently organized standard TED event scheduled to be held in Dubai. We're on a mission to amplify the talents of both Emiratis and the expatriate community, showcasing the UAE on a global stage. Our goal is to inspire happiness, positivity, and well-being in our community.

Our event is named "Happiness Street" in recognition of the United Arab Emirates' remarkable progress towards becoming the happiest country in the world. The theme 'Vocation and Avocation' explores the delicate art of balancing one's professional and personal passions to craft a life filled with purpose and fulfillment. It also aligns with the UAE's initiatives promoting work-life balance for both citizens and expatriates, enabling them to thrive without compromising their quality of life.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
